Safex Transport continues to expand its physical fleet. The carrier is pleased to announce the delivery of 25 brand-new Volvo tractors to its central fleet this month.
These new vehicles feature clean-diesel engine technology, active collision-mitigation safety systems, and improved driver comfort. This addition expands the company's asset fleet in response to rising demand from new and existing corporate clients.

A $1.2M Investment in Growth
This truck acquisition is part of a larger $1.2 million capital investment program in assets and equipment planned for the 2021–2022 fiscal year. This program will fund the launch of two new specialized transport divisions:
- Pharmaceutical Division: Dedicated cold-chain transportation engineered to meet strict regulatory compliance for temperature-sensitive medical shipments.
- Intermodal Division: Combining road and rail freight transport to offer cost-effective, long-haul capacity for high-volume cross-border supply chains.
The launch of these specialized divisions is expected to create 55 new jobs, including professional drivers, dispatchers, and safety compliance personnel, supporting the local economy in Quebec and Ontario.
