As part of its ongoing commitment to corporate social responsibility, Safex Transport is pleased to announce a new community partnership with Moisson Sud-Ouest, the regional food bank serving the Suroît area within Montérégie, Quebec.
Logistics for Good
The COVID-19 pandemic has significantly impacted regional supply chains and worsened food insecurity. Moisson Sud-Ouest has experienced a 28% increase in demand for food assistance across its territory, which includes the regional county municipalities (MRCs) of Beauharnois-Salaberry, Vaudreuil-Soulanges, and Haut-Saint-Laurent. To support their vital work, Safex Transport will leverage its logistics capabilities and network to transport essential food donations.
"As an asset-based transportation provider operating across the East Coast, we believe we have a responsibility to support community development," says Raminder Singh, President of Safex Transport. "We chose to partner with Moisson Sud-Ouest because of their direct impact in helping people in need during this ongoing public health crisis."
Join the Campaign
To encourage collective action, Safex Transport is launching a holiday campaign titled "J'ai donné, et toi?" ("I gave, and you?"). The campaign invites B2B clients, vendors, and community partners to join the company in supporting Moisson Sud-Ouest, helping to ensure regional families have access to nutritious food.
Safex Transport is proud to stand alongside Moisson Sud-Ouest, demonstrating that logistics can be a powerful tool for social good. Shippers and partners are invited to join the campaign and support the Suroît region this holiday season.
