Safex Transport is proud to announce its outstanding debut on the national economic stage, ranking #15 on the 2020 list of Canada's Fastest-Growing Companies. With a compound five-year revenue growth rate of 6,408%, the company has secured the #1 position in the Province of Quebec for the Transportation and Logistics category, and the #2 position across all of Canada.
A Journey Built on Excellence
This achievement highlights a rapid rise fueled by deep generational roots. The founders, brothers Raminder and Amandeep Singh, represent the third generation of transport operators in their family. Their grandfather purchased his very first commercial vehicle in Mumbai, India, in 1958. Years later, their father, Narinderjit Singh, entered the business, expanding the regional fleet and teaching his sons the inner workings of commercial road transport. In 2014, Raminder and Amandeep decided to build on this family heritage, establishing Safex Transport in Montreal.
While Raminder Singh manages daily fleet mechanics and driver routing, Amandeep Singh brings extensive experience from the corporate business sector. This combination of technical knowledge and strategic planning has driven the carrier's growth. Today, Safex Transport employs more than 125 specialists and continues to expand its physical assets.
What Sets Us Apart
"We have a hundred trucks — but that is not the only thing we do," says Amandeep Singh, Co-Chief Executive Officer of Safex Transport. "We also have an active brokerage division, and we have acquired land in Vaudreuil, Quebec, where we are planning to build a state-of-the-art warehouse facility. We are moving towards diversification, where we are a true one-stop shop for all of our customers."
A major differentiator for Safex Transport is its focus on safety. Every truck in the fleet is equipped with dual-facing dash cameras and advanced telemetry systems to monitor driver behavior. This integration of safety technology has lowered operational risks and insurance premiums, allowing Safex to pass these cost reductions directly to its corporate B2B clients through stable and competitive rates.
Looking Ahead
As Safex Transport scales its transcontinental operations across the East Coast of Canada and the United States, its commitment to supporting employees and providing reliable capacity remains unchanged. The company is actively recruiting professional drivers and administrative staff to support its ongoing expansion.
