Smart Expansion — Strengthening Our Ontario Footprint

September 29, 20202 min read

Safex Transport is pleased to announce the official opening of its permanent terminal and logistics hub in Woodbridge, Ontario. This strategic expansion is a key milestone in the carrier's long-term plan to secure a strong cross-border presence.

Expanding Where It Matters

This expansion addresses rising shipping volumes between central Canada and key US markets. The new Woodbridge facility has been equipped with an initial fleet of 20 dedicated tractors and 40 trailers to serve corporate partners throughout the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).

"Our new Woodbridge hub will immediately support over 200 outbound shipments bound for the US East Coast and Midwest regions," says Amandeep Singh, Executive Officer of Safex Transport. "By establishing a permanent physical asset presence in Ontario, we ensure our clients in the GTA receive reliable daily capacity, seamless communication, and consistent on-time delivery."

An Asset-Based Advantage

Safex Transport was supported in this transaction by industrial real estate broker Enrico DiFede from Cresa Toronto. DiFede and his team aligned the company's long-term operational goals with a strategic location in the GTA to support daily departures. This new hub strengthens Safex's position as a premier asset-based carrier. By owning and managing its fleet, Safex protects shippers from the price volatility and service issues often associated with third-party logistics brokers.

Shippers seeking customized Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) or Full-Truckload (FTL) capacity departing from the GTA are invited to contact the commercial sales team at sales@safextransport.ca.
